Louisiana Range: Nearly statewide but absent in the Florida Parishes, and few records from Acadiana in southwest Louisiana and parts of northern Louisiana.

Author's Remarks: I have only observed this species twice in Louisiana, both in the Atchafalaya Basin north of I-10, but see them routinely in the Big Thicket of east Texas.
